Blink Interactive
Blue Flavor

After much anticipation, I am happy to announce that Blue Flavor has been acquired by Blink Interactive.  As part of the acquisition, I will be joining the team at Blink Interactive as User Experience Director.

My focus will be on directing client projects and delivering evidence-driven design solutions. I will also be instrumental in strengthening Blink’s position as a thought leader in the user experience domain, just like I did for Blue Flavor.

Why the change?

I have been asked why I decided to pursue the offer from Blink.  For me, that decision became clear after working on Blue Flavor for five years.  The simple answer is that my heart is with user experience and not running a business.  I would rather work for the business as a director, rather than on the business as the owner.  It took me five years to realize this and it’s not an easy decision to make, but I feel I am going to be much happier this way.

So why Blink Interactive?

The choice to be a part of the Blink team became obvious from the first meeting I had with Kelly and Karen.  The pure talent Blink already has in-house, plus their focus on user experience services really helped seal the deal.  Kelly and Karen offered me an opportunity to be doing exactly what I want to be doing for a company that shares the same philosophies on user experience as I do.

Blink stands apart from other user experience firms in their ability to translate research findings to actionable design recommendations.  Clients have access to a wide range of research methodologies, including field studies, usability testing (remote and in-person), surveys, and interviews.  But don’t take my word for it, head on over to the Blink Interactive website to learn about all of the services we offer.
