With all the research going on with digital paper, touch screen walls and surfaces, here is an interesting take on interfaces; human skin.  “Scientists are researching biodegradable, silicon-silk devices that could be implanted inside the human body for various applications, potentially including the development of ‘LED tattoo’ skin displays.”  It is a bit creepy for sure and the video seems to romanticize the technology. I also thought embedding RFID Chips into living beings was a bit odd, not sure what to think of the notion of human skin being the next interface frontier.  Though, when you really think about it, human skin is actually a very sophisticated interface already.  Read the full article here: LED Tattoos Could Turn Skin Into Screens.
