User Experience Events
Aug 6th, 2009
Pretty frequently I get asked about user experience events, mostly by those interested in what events are on my radar and what is coming up within the region. Unfortunately, aside from searching on sites like Upcoming or happening across some local tech calendars, there is no real one stop shop for all UX events. There are a few sites out there that do list a lot of upcoming UX events but not all of them, and more often then not, they mix in events that I really wouldn’t consider UX related at all or at least not of interest to UX professionals.
So I created a basic list of some of the bigger conferences. There are a few events in there that are funded by businesses or agencies, but for the most part they are mainly community or association driven events. I have a few in there that are more academic in nature but most of them are focused at the practitioner.
