Information Architecture
CHRISTUS Health is one of the top ten Catholic health systems in the United States. As their company grew, so did their Intranet. New information was being added to their Intranet almost daily. The organization of the Intranet site began to suffer and employees found it harder and harder to find the resources their were looking for.
They had looked to Rapidigm for a solution. The solution was simple, they needed to rearchitect their site and reorganize the content. Having several years of experience doing information architecture I jumped right in with building a taxonomy for their content. CHRISTUS was also moving to a portal based technology in the near future so we developed a modular site that could accompany the portal technology. We created a new blueprint for them backed by wireframes and style guides. The result was greeted with praise and outstanding success.
