Information Architecture
In January PCD Group kicked off the CitiBusiness online telesales credit application project. The concept for the site was to allow Telesales employees to take credit apps over the phone using an Intranet based web application.
I was brought on board to manage the project and to do the information architecture for the site. We started with the traditional printed credit apps that CitiBusiness was using and we created search and security mechanisms for the system.
I also took on the role of web developer mid-way through the project. We used XHTML and CSS to do most of the layout and page structure. We used CSS-Print for the system's output so the credit apps could be mailed to the customer for signing.
