Digital Web Magazine
Information Architecture / Project Management

Back in 1998 a few colleagues and I founded Digital Web Magazine, it was to be an online publication for Web Designers and people who worked in the industry. Like any new project, after a few years the web site needed a new look and feel that accompanied it's new goals and vision.
I was essentially the project manager overseeing the whole redesign effort as well as the normal daily activities of the magazine. I worked collaboratively with a series of industry experts including Christina Wodtke, Didier Hilhorst, Doug Bowman, Craig Saila, Rudy Limeback and Cal Henderson. The project spanned about 2 years and took about 6 months of man hours to complete.
The result was a fresh and new design, greatly improved information architecture, database driven content, greater efficiency with the new backend admin tool, and overall improved usability and accessibility.
