Usability Plan

Once it is determined that a usability test needs to be conducted on a web site the next step is to create a usaibility plan for the study. A usability plan is essentially a document that describes who on the team will be involved with the study, what the goals are of the study, what user types are going to be participating, the method that will be used for the study, how the data will be analyized, and the tasks that will be proformed during the stufy.
For the Microsoft Partners project I was involved with refining the usability plan with both internal and expertnal support. The study's goal was to get more insight into what problems users are running into during the registration process and what problems are previed as more severe to the user. The study would be in two parts, a user test and then a short survey.
